Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as use of and/or buying from the mrteak.co.uk website means that you will be bound by them.
Return Policy
Standard returns
Items must be returned to us in a fully resalable condition, which means unused and in their original packaging.
We cannot accept returns for items that have been assembled or used, this includes items that have been treated (e.g. painted, stained or varnished).

Mr Teak reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange on items deemed as not resalable. Items must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt and a note must be included stating your Order ID number and reason for return.
We recommend you return goods either tracked or recorded as we cannot be held responsible for missing goods or items damaged in transit. If you prefer we can also arrange returns to be collected by our courier, but please be aware we are not responsible for return postage costs which must be met by you, the customer.

Clearance Products
Our Clearance products are still of high quality but they may have defects, damaged packaging, or other reasons for falling into our clearance products category which will be highlighted on each product specifically.
Due to this, we have reduced the costs of the products by a significant amount, these products are non-returnable and no refund will be offered after delivery.
By accepting our T&C's prior to purchase you are acknowledging that you understand this and accept the product discount is offered because of the restriction on returning these products.
Damaged or faulty goods
Our furniture is of the highest quality but in the unlikely event that you have a problem with your item, or you receive faulty or damaged goods please contact us within 48 hours of receipt. It is important that you inspect your item and are happy with it before assembly as we are unable to accept returns for faulty items that have been assembled.
Waiver
Every effort has, is and will be taken to ensure that the information contained in this site is correct and up to date. The information may, however, become incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. To the full extent permitted by law, but subject to the terms and conditions of sale referred to below, we disclaim all warranties and representations (whether implied or expressed) as to the accuracy of any information contained on this website.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply.
Contract. The contract for sale by us and purchase of Goods by you.
Goods. The range of garden products which are available for purchase from this site in accordance with the terms.

Use of this website
The content of this website is owned by or licensed to Mr Teak. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, re-sell, display, post or transmit any part of this website without the permission of Mr Teak You may view or print individual pages only for your own personal use.
Limitation of liability
Mr Teak shall not be liable for any damage or loss that may occur in the use of any of the information contained or advice given in this site except as stated in the terms and conditions of sale (where applicable) and to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law. Mr Teak is not responsible for the website’s accuracy or its fitness for a particular purpose or the reliability of the access to this website.
Mr Teak is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your use of or inability to use this website. Mr Teak does not guarantee that this website will operate free of error or that it is free from computer viruses or any other contaminating computer program.
We will not be liable to you or in breach of the Contract for delay or failure to perform due to any causes beyond the reasonable control of Mr Teak or its suppliers, including, but not limited to, acts of god, civil commotion, industrial dispute, riots, flood, and legislation.
Data protection and privacy
Any details which you provide to us from which we can identify you are held and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Main characteristics of goods
Every item on mrteak.co.uk will be accompanied with an appropriate description and by a representative image.
In some cases the product may vary from the image displayed where the manufacturer has updated the packaging or improved the look of the product without informing us. Also note that colours can vary due to conditions at the time photography, possible natural variations in colour and also the setup and model of your computer monitor.
During transportation, changes in humidity and temperature may cause furring, where a dust can be present on the furniture, this is a perfectly natural occurrence and can simply be wiped off with a damp cloth.
When your teak furniture arrives it has a golden colour but will naturally weather over a short period of time to a light grey patina. This ageing process does not affect the quality of the product and is simply created by the bleaching effect of the sun and weather. It is very easy to clean your teak furniture by simply washing with warm soapy water or applying a teak cleaner one part cleaners
Cracks on the furniture, particularly on the arms, of the bench's and chairs are again caused by changes in humidity and temperature and will also have no lasting effects on the furniture.
Pricing
All prices quoted are in British pounds (£) and include Value Added Tax (VAT). If the price goes up or down in between you placing and receiving your order, we will honour the original price.
Ordering and stock availability
We aim to display only items that are in stock and which can be dispatched to you quickly. From time to time we may sell out of some lines, in which case we will aim to advise you within the 7-10 day delivery period. If this does occur, you will be given the opportunity to order an alternative or receive a full refund for the full price you paid.
Mr Teak makes no representation as to the goods, items, products or services referred to in, or sold from, this website as being available or suitable for use.
Delivery
The delivery date/times and delivery date/times shown on our site are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Deliveries may be delayed for reasons that are out of the control of both Mrmuck.co.uk and the particular carrier.
Next Day Delivery is only applicable when ordered before 12pm & within the UK Mainland. We aim to dispatch all orders as soon as possible and in most cases, arrive with the customer the next day. But due to delivery fulfilment this may not always be possible and delivery can take between 3-5 business days.
Damages & shortages
It is rare for items to get damaged in transit but accidents can happen and occasionally there may be a packing error resulting in a shortage.
It is vital that all orders are checked on delivery and we are notified of any damages or shortages within 48 hours. In these cases it is best to call us to lets us know, but if you do email then ensure that we have acknowledged the email before the time elapses as we cannot take responsibility for non delivery of an email.
If it is not possible to check the item at the time of delivery for any reason then please let us know so that we can discuss the risks involved if the item is not being checked. Unfortunately once the 48 hours have elapsed the couriers insurance lapses and claims cannot be made. This is why it is safer to always check items on the day of delivery even if the outer packaging appears to be intact. To speed the process up we may on occasion ask for images of the damage.
Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled by emailing orders@mrteak.co.uk stating the order reference. Credit / Debit cards will be refunded within 5 working days. If an order has been dispatched and the cancellation is due to the item no longer being required then it will be your responsibility to return the item or to cover the cost of the courier returning the item to us.
In the instance of a faulty product we will arrange to exchange the item for a replacement of the same model. We may however need to determine the cause of the fault and the exchange would depend on the nature of the item / fault and the conditions of the manufacturers warranty. To speed the process up we may on occasion ask for images of the fault, if it is a visible problem.
Please note that if one or more items are returned for a refund and the remaining items on the order would have incurred a delivery charge then this charge will need to be deducted from the refund value.
Pre-Order
Mr Teak aims to fulfil any pre-orders made but reserves the right to cancel or modify any pre-order made via the website or telephone, without notice.
We will not be held liable for any costs that may have been incurred as a result of canceling or modifying the pre-order.
Guarantee
This guarantee excludes damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse or normal weathering Any offered warranty does not cover defects caused by the application of teak oil, varnish or wood stain. The warranty does not apply to furniture which has been placed on an uneven surface which as a result has caused the table to warp or caused opening/closing mechanical problems. For maximum longevity of your furniture your teak furniture should be placed on an even surface.
Warranties
We aim to deliver goods of the highest quality. Where the Goods are products we warrant that they will meet their specification.
Changes to the terms
Mr Teak reserves the right to remove, modify or change, without notice, any information on this website from time to time. Mr Teak may change these terms at any time by posting notice of the changes on the website . If you use the website after Mr Teak has posted the changes you will be bound by the new terms. You should therefore ensure that you read the terms each time you use the website .
General
E-mails to you will be sent to the address you specify to us. You must only provide us with a valid e-mail address and it is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to that address.
To the extent that any provision of these terms is found by any court or authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed not to be a part of these terms and will not affect the enforceability of the remainder of these terms, nor will it affect the validity, lawfulness or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction.
The headings in these terms are for convenience only and do not affect their interpretation.
These terms supercede any representation made by us or any of our employees or agents.
Statutory rights
The consumer’s contract with Mr Teak does not effect the consumer’s statutory rights.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and your use of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be decided only by the Courts of England and Wales.
